From the Train #2.....Somewhere in Texas

This is #2 painting from my Amtrak train series. I recently took a trip to OKC from Chicago and back. We had a 2 hour delay on the tracks between Ft Worth and Dallas, Texas. The clouds were billowing in a fantastic way and since I had a roomette where I could spread my stuff out...I took advantage of the stop to paint this scene. I did most of it with my palette knife. (the same knife I used as a painting subject on this blog). I did not mind the delay as much as others did because I was not in a huge hurry and I had my paints with me! Now...if I did not have my paints with me it could have gotten pretty tense. *LOL*
